Mr. Wok, Plano, TX

We went to Mr. Wok, Plano today and it was quite an interesting experience! It was a team lunch and there were quite a few dishes out there most of which i didnt try since i am not that adventurous. The specialty of this place is the Peking duck which has to ordered one day in advance. There was tofu, cabbage, string beans and peas and those were quite good.

The peking duck is served with tortillas and it was quite ok. I have never been fond of duck but it was quite good. Other than that, there was the beggars chicken that is cooked in dough and the shell was quite hard to crack! It was quite interesting and served with sticky rice.

All in all, i seem to be experiencing different types of chinese food.

Manchu Wok, Stonebriar mall, Frisco, TX

I made the mistake of ordering from Manchu Wok. I ordered chicken egg rolls, kung pao chicken, fried rice and jalapeno chicken. The egg roll was raw and the chicken pieces were too big. I wasnt happy with the food and had to buy an ice cream to wash the taste away. Comparatively, Panda Express has never disappointed.

Central market, Plano, TX

The other day we went here to grab a quick bite before catching up on a movie. Its a pretty decent place and one can choose what one wants to eat from a variety of food and pay for it and heat it up in the microwave. The price is pretty expensive. A friend said that was the best meatballs they had ever tasted. 320 Coit Road Plano, TX 75075-5712
