Maggi Authentic Indian Paneer Tikka paste

I tried out the paneer tikka paste following the instructions on the cover. It does coat the paneer really well and the spices soak into the paneer. However, i found it too strong a taste and interestingly the rajmah masala and paneer tikka paste gave the same taste. I would probably not buy it again. http://www.amazon.com/Maggi-Authentic-Indian-Paneer-Tikka/dp/B004XTCV9M

Paneer Kakori

I tried out the Paneer Kakori recipe from the Best of Chicken and Paneer by Nita Mehta. It was certainly quite tasty although i suspect that when she meant two potatoes she meant the smaller potatoes and i used 2 quite large potatoes. I also realised that one has to crumble the paneer roughly otherwise you cant make out the taste of paneer. I grilled these over our indoor grill. I feel baking them in the oven would have been better. For those of you who have access to her book, its definitely worth a try!

Paneer Makhmali

I tried out the Paneer Makhmali recipe present in Nita Mehta's "The best of chicken and paneer" and it turned out pretty good. Its a tomato based gravy with coconut milk, lemon juice and paneer tempered with mustard seeds and curry leaves. For those, who have her book i would definitely recommend trying the recipe out !

Shahi Paneer Kheer with Lychees
