Panda Express, Plano, TX

Panda Express is a fast food chinese restaurant that is very near our home. It is our place to go to for the quick meals and serves relatively decent food. I like their Black Pepper Chicken, Kung Pao chicken and chicken egg rolls. They are located at: 1121 E Spring Creek Pkwy Plano, TX (972) 422-2846

Mr. Wok, Plano, TX

We went to Mr. Wok, Plano today and it was quite an interesting experience! It was a team lunch and there were quite a few dishes out there most of which i didnt try since i am not that adventurous. The specialty of this place is the Peking duck which has to ordered one day in advance. There was tofu, cabbage, string beans and peas and those were quite good. The peking duck is served with tortillas and it was quite ok. I have never been fond of duck but it was quite good. Other than that, there was the beggars chicken that is cooked in dough and the shell was quite hard to crack! It was quite interesting and served with sticky rice. All in all, i seem to be experiencing different types of chinese food. They are located at : 151 W. Spring Creek Pkwy Ste 519 Plano, TX 75023 (214) 287-0237 www.mrtofu.net

Chings Secret products

Of late i have tried quite a few Chings secret products and have been very happy with the results. For starters, i have always liked their Hakka Egg Noodles and Hakka Veg Noodles. They come out perfect. I tried the Schezwan sauce and have used it for fried rice and noodles and i loved it. I tried out the schezwan sauce mix (made paneer schezwan) and manchurian sauce mix (made vegetable manchurian) and they both came out amazing - just the kind you get back in India. I am yet to try out the Paneer chilli sauce mix but based on the results that i have seen so far, i am sure it is also pretty good. These mixes contain recipes at the back of them that are easy to follow and easy to make. Other than that, i also tried out the Hot Garlic instant noodles and it wasnt so good but still eatable. I remember i absolutely hated the Schezwan instant noodles. I also bought the green chilli and red chilli sauce that i use when i make gobi manchurian and its pretty good although i think any brand woul...

Jasmine , Addison, TX

We stopped at this chinese restaurant on the way back home from a friends place and were pleasantly surprised. The decor was good, the service excellent and the food worth it. It is definitely the best chinese food i have had. I tried out chicken schezuan and noodles and it was awesome. Nishanth loved his food too. They are located at: Jasmine 4002 Belt Line Road Addison, TX 75244

Manchu Wok, Stonebriar mall, Frisco, TX

I made the mistake of ordering from Manchu Wok. I ordered chicken egg rolls, kung pao chicken, fried rice and jalapeno chicken. The egg roll was raw and the chicken pieces were too big. I wasnt happy with the food and had to buy an ice cream to wash the taste away. Comparatively, Panda Express has never disappointed.

Ching's Secret Schezwan Noodles

I used to love the schezwan noodles back in India. Therefore, when i saw the noodle pack in the Indian Grocery Store i was intrigued. You can take a look at it here: http://www.ishopindian.com/chings-secret-schezwan-noodles-pr-24089.html The noodles were absolutely horrible and it looked like one had just taken plain noodles and added unadulterated red hot chilli powder and served it to you. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

Tai Pei Chicken Fried Rice and Shrimp Fried Rice

This weekend we decided to be adventurous and bought the Tai Pei Chicken Fried Rice and Tai Pei Shrimp Fried Rice from Walmart. We didnt like it at all. It was barely eatable. Both these rice contain oyster sauce and perhaps that could be one reason i didnt like it. The reviews on these rice is not good either. Before, you decide to buy it, make sure you take a look at the reviews out there on the web.
